Vanatta Electric was an auto/truck electric rebuild shop located just off of busy the busy Pearl Street in Boulder, Colorado.

Requirements

Vanatta Electric was one of the last original businesses that still existed among Boulder's many thriving brick and mortar storefronts. It was easily overlooked by tourists, and it's name buried under neighbors that carried big names, like Google.

Founder Walter Alex was looking for a video to market his business but also wanted video capturing what he invested 21+ years into. His shop was a second home to him and one of his main request was to make the shop the hero of the video.

Solution

Our team developed a concept that would tell not only Vanatta Electrics story but also how Walter tied into its history. As per Alex’s request we would put a heavy emphasis on the space, textures and sounds of the shop he loved so well.

Vanatta Electric has closed its doors since we filmed this piece three years ago. We're so happy we were able to capture him in his element, to be passed down for generations.
